Dr. Duy Bui

Chiropractic Physician

  • Doctor of Chiropractic, 2010, Western States Chiropractic College

Method of Practice:

Dr. Bui’s style of practice to improve the function of the joints as well as the surrounding soft tissues. He utilizes many gentle and effective methods of adjusting including diversified, drop table, and a light force technique using the arthrostim tool.

 

Dr. Mikhail Alperov

Chiropractic Intern

Degrees:

  • Doctor of Chiropractic, 2022, University of Western States

Method of Practice:

Mik’s adjusting styles includes diversified adjusting, drop table technique, as well as gentle approaches such as activator. She focuses on adjusting, but uses soft tissue and rehabilitation to provide the greatest results for her patients.

Bio:

After a weightlifting injury, Mik found the impact chiropractic can make for pain relief as well as functional improvement. Growing up,she was a competitive figure skater and gymnast so she is interested in the impact adjustments can have in sport performance.

Special Interests:
During his free time, Mik enjoys hiking, riding horses, fishing, and weightlifting.

Jamie Sherer

Chiropractic Assistant/ Therapeutic Exercise Coach

Degrees:

  • Bachelors of Science in Health and Physical Education, 2016 Southern Oregon University

  • Chiropractic Assistant Certification, 2020

Bio:

With background knowledge in kinesiology, therapeutic exercise and physical therapy, Jamie is eager to equip others to take their health into their own hands. Jamie’s main goal is to provide education on how to rehabilitate the body, reduce pain, and prevent future injuries. Having struggled with chronic pain in the past, Jamie knows how debilitating pain after trauma can be. But she also knows, majority of the time there is a way to break through the pain and come out stronger than ever!

Method of Practice:

Jamie’s main passion in life is health and fitness. She knows the importance of physical body movement in overall wellness, healing from trauma and pain resolution/management. Her approach to physical rehabilitation includes a combination of exercise, stretching, mobilization, muscle energy/active release and other therapeutic techniques. Her training and skills add greatly to our clinic’s holistic approach for health and wellness.

Special interests:

In her free time, Jamie enjoys playing sports,  eating delicious food, exploring the great northwest trails, and being outside in the sun. She also loves spending time with her soulmate dancing, cooking, and traveling to new places. 

 

Lyndsey Hirons

Chiropractic Assistant

Degrees:

  • Chiropractic Assistant

  • Bio:

Lyndsey was introduced to massage early on. His Mom is a LMT and Q would receive massages after his sporting events, showing him the power massage can have to heal and relieve aches and pains. While obtaining a certificate to teach Yin Yoga, Q was inspired to continue in his Mom’s footsteps and become a LMT. He is currently finishing up his LMT license at Oregon School of Massage.

Method of Practice:

Lyndsey follows the philosophical thought that healing’s credit is that of the patient. Combining breath work with compression, acupressure, and Swedish strokes, Q works to relax patients’ mind, body tissues, and improve overall well being.

Special Interests

Q loves running, doing Yoga, and playing basketball. He’s been a ball boy for the Trailblazers for 4 years! You can also find him hiking in the amazing NW outdoors, looking to find cool places to explore and practice mediation.

Makena Prouty

Clinic Operations/ Chiropractic Assistant 

Degrees:

  • Massage Therapy Certification 2016 Tigard, OR

  • Chiropractic Assistant Certification, 2020

Bio:

Cristina has always been very active most of her life, even as a kid from pretending to be a ninja to climbing trees and that eventually lead to cross country, track, swim, and lacrosse. Her first chiropractic experience was right after massage school and started working under a chiropractor and she’s continued to see one ever since. Outside of the Ridge, you can see Cristina taking all kinds of fitness classes since she previously taught spin for a year. Right now she’s looking to expand her knowledge in the fitness field by continuing her education in Health Sciences and Personal Training.  Her goal is to educate people that movement is important to the body. 

Special interests:

When Cristina isn’t working, she enjoys being with her family and friends. On top of that, she likes to host dance competitions with her co-worker Jamie.
