If you have been recently walking the streets of Orenco Station, you may have noticed a new sign on the Platform 14 building. The Ridge Chiropractic Wellness Clinic recently opened its doors to serve the Hillsboro and Beaverton community. You may have wondered how I came up with this name. To understand this, you will need to know a little bit about me.
I was born and raised near Bozeman, Montana. For anyone who has seen this part of the country, its beauty is not something that you easily forget. I started skiing at the age of 4 and my home mountain was Bridger Bowl. Through the years of skiing the amazing terrain at Bridger, I began to covet the amazing expert terrain that was available above the ski lifts if you are willing to hike for it. This is known by the locals simply as “The Ridge” and once accessed, leads to some to the most amazing and challenging steeps loaded with that cold smoke powder. To me, it exemplifies an attitude or philosophy, meaning that the best turns are the ones that you have to work for. This philosophy carries true to how I view health. Good health doesn’t just happen, but rather it is the cumulative effect of good habits and choices that we make over the course of time.
The pursuit of good health is worthy of your consistent attention and a big component is keeping mobility in the spine. Find your path to The Ridge to get well, stay well, and excel!
